We are now looking for a Private Client Secretary to join our busy and supportive team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload and wants to work within a professional but approachable environment.
What You’ll Do
You’ll provide essential support to our Private Client team, assisting with Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Executries.
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing letters and general correspondence
- Drafting documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney
- Providing full secretarial support to fee earners
- Managing and updating diaries
- Liaising with clients by phone, email, and in person
- Reviewing and prioritising incoming mail
- Conducting file reviews and ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Providing general administrative support across the team
- Audio typing (desirable but not essential)
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident IT skills, especially Microsoft Office applications
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience within a Private Client department (Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries)
- Audio typing experience
