Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dog loving Event Staff to join our dynamic team at The Big Bark, a dog festival coming to Towcester Racecourse.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our weekend event, providing exceptional customer service and event management skills. Previous experience in management, hospitality, or guest services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and direct them to appropriate areas
- Assist with event set-up and breakdown, ensuring all equipment and materials are correctly arranged including dog show rings and marquees.
- Car parking stewards
- Scanning tickets on the gate
- Support the management team in coordinating event schedules and activities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation throughout the event space
- Handle any unforeseen issues promptly to ensure a seamless experience for guests
Skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable manner
- Experience in management or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
- Guest service orientation with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to adapt to different types of events and varying responsibilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
