We are a well‑established and growing kitchen and bathroom installation company known for our craftsmanship, professional service, and high levels of customer satisfaction. As we expand, we’re seeking a reliable, organised, and customer‑facing Sales Surveyor to bridge the gap between clients and our installation teams.
Summary
You will act as the face of the company, visiting customers homes to survey spaces, assess feasibility, advise on design options, and produce accurate proposals. Your role will combine technical, sales, and project‑coordination elements.
Typical Week Structure
3–4 days on site: Visit customers to carry out surveys, take measurements, assess technical feasibility, review existing plans/designs, and recommend adjustments.
1–2 days at home / in office: Prepare proposals, liaise with retailers and installers, respond to emails/phone calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer properties to carry out technical surveys and verify measurements
- Review pre-existing plans or designs and discuss them with clients
- Suggest and recommend design or layout changes when needed
- Create scopes of work and price up the construction part of the project
- Prepare and submit detailed estimates, proposals, and quotations
- Liaise with project team and installers to ensure smooth completion
- Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone and email
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and project files
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in kitchen/bathroom or construction-related surveying / sales (preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take precise measurements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and able to manage your own schedule
- Good knowledge of construction processes and terminology
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
