Job Title: Swim Teacher
Working Hours: Part time between 4-15 hours per week (Wed-Sat)
Pay: Up to £22,00 per hour depending on experience
Location: Orton Longueville (PE2 7JS)
Start Date: September 2026 (Training June/July)

At Happy Fins, we're not just another swim school; we're a family-run, local business with a deep commitment to providing a fin-tastic experience from the moment you step through our doors. Created by Nick & Amanda in 2023, a couple that share a passion for swimming, who opened more than just a swim school together. We run 1:1 & 2:1 lessons for children and small group lessons for babies and their adult.
Due to a period of sustained growth we are now looking to add to our already brilliant team. We are looking for team members that understand what a crucial life skill swimming is and how important it is to foster a love for swimming in children. You will be able teach in a fun and safe way while building a friendly rapport with the customers.

What you will be doing:
· Conduct swim lessons for individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels
· Teach proper swimming techniques and water safety skills from within the pool
· Provide progress reports to participants and their parents/guardians
· Create a positive, supportive and fun learning environment for all participants and customers
· Ensure the safety of participants during lessons by closely monitoring their activities in the water
· Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the swim area and equipment
About you:
· Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction preferred
· Knowledge of swimming techniques and water safety practices
· Ability to effectively communicate and educate participants of all ages
· Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with individuals and groups
· STA or Swim England level 2 qualified (or willingness to obtain)
· STA or Swim England Parent & Baby qualified (or willingness to obtain)
· CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
· Ability to pass a background check
