We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our 4th generation family run business. Butterfield Group employs 150 multi-skilled, sign specific experienced personnel operating from our Bradford factory locations. The role of Hiab Driver / Installer is managed by the installation manager, but they will liaise with Sales and Production to ensure the jobs are completed efficiently to customer specifications. There will be on the job training, development and opportunities for growth and career progression.
Job Summary
Driving and operating an HGV HIAB 18 - 26t. Duties will include the removal and installation of signage and steel works. Works will be based from our depot in Bradford. There will be a lot of travelling involved as work will be allocated throughout the UK, with nights out for long distances. The ideal candidate would preferably have all industry recognised training, but we would provide training as necessary. Job Responsibilities
· Drive vehicles such as flatbeds and 18t hiab lorry various locations
· To carry out signage installation
· Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
· Ability to read and understand manufacturing and installation drawings /written instruction
· Reporting of completed works with photos and to feed back any information from site if there was a problem
· Ability to converse with the customer on site
· Responsible for up-keeping of company vehicle and equipment, Performing regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
· Always follow company H&S policy for safe working practices
· Completion of paperwork
· Quality checks
· Job reporting via an app-based platform

Skills required
· Have a basic knowledge of the wiring systems within the signage industry
· GCSE in English and Math’s C or above
· CSCS / IPAF / PASMA / First Aid. Desirable
· Be competent with the use of power tools electric and battery operated
· Hold a full clean driving license
· Motivated and enthusiastic approach to work.
· HGV 1 or 2 Driver License with HIAB experience, CSCS, ALLMI, NPORs or CPCS, - Desirable
Salary dependant on experience and qualifications
