Job Title: Deputy Manager Childrens Home

Real Care Support Ltd have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Deputy Manager to support our home on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager, or a very experienced Senior looking for progression within the sector.
You will be responsible for the effective running of the home whilst on shift, supporting the managers in accordance with Quality Standards and Regulations for Children's Homes and Ofsted guidelines. We are looking for a passionate and hard working individual.
As the Deputy Manager, your duties will include:
- Developing, mentoring and leading a vibrant and enthusiastic care team.
- Responsible for the effective day to day running of the home and the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
- Deliver the organisations vision and values and best possible childcare to the children in the service.
- Build internal and external relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners.
- You will be supported by a Registered Manager, Responsible Individual and Director
As the Deputy Manager, we are looking for someone who has:
· Level 3 in Children's Residential
· A true passion for care and working with children
· Supervision or management experience.
· Worked in a Children's residential setting min 2 years at a senior level
· Confident meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines.
· Valid Enhanced DBS and on the update service.
· Driving Licence
