Job Overview
We are looking for Production Line Operatives to join our Manufacturing team, at ICB Distillers in Middlesbrough with a starting salary of £26,437.
This position offers the opportunity for progression and is shift-based which includes working nights.
Experience within a Food Manufacturing /Canning enviroment is preferred.
General Description
Responsible for ensuring that products are bottled/canned and packed according to specification and that where required all relevant documentation is completed correctly.
Main Responsibilites & Duties
- Wear company supplied PPE and work wear.
- Comply with company policies and procedures when on shift.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and work to clean as you go principles.
- Report any accidents and near misses as they occur to yourself or others.
- Liaise with Health and Safety to investigate accidents and near misses.
- Carry out any reasonable request as instructed by a Deputy/ Production Shift Manager.
- Train, coach and mentor when required new starters, graduates or works experienced employees and act as a role model for ICB Distillers and it’s values.
- Participate in site audits and assist when required.

Knowledge, experience, and skills required.
- Food industry or factory experience preferred.
- To be able to work as part of a team or under your own initiative.
- Good standard of English and Maths.
- Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining the correct standard of work.
