About the company:
You will be working for a premier complex care provider that is CQC-regulated and nurse-led. We work closely with CHCs, ICBs, case managers and law firms, and our team acts as an extension to the multidisciplinary team involved in a client's care and rehabilitation, integrating care
Our office is at ST18 but our clients are based all over Staffordshire and can range from Lichfield to Biddulph. As a bank member of staff, we will be able to onboard you to a few packages to provide emergency cover for.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in their private residence
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Document patient observations, progress, and any changes in condition.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Transport patients to medical appointments or social outings as needed.
Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy.
- Experience working with complex care patients.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to hold an enhanced DBS
