*Overview*
We are seeking Associates to join both our breakfast and evening teams in our restaurant and take away. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and excellence in food service, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Our top priority is an outstanding customer experience from the moment a customer walks through the door. Duties will mainly include service and the preparation of service items, including breakfast. Full training will be provided to the right candidate so no prior experience required (although helpful). We are looking for well presented people who are available to work a mix of mornings and evenings each week, so please do not apply if you cannot meet this criteria or if you are at College studying.
*Responsibilities*
- Provide exemplary customer experience during each customer interaction
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently and monitor order system
- Prepare food and drinks items as required
- Process payments and operate the point of sale system
- Maintain safety, cleanliness and tidiness of kitchen and restaurant at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate service
- Uphold food safety standards at all times, including our strong gluten free offering
*Skills*
- Experience in restaurant or breakfast service is highly desirable
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and help customers with inquiries
- Knowledge of catering, or restaurant operations is advantageous
- Understanding of food safety practices is beneficial (training will be provided)
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Honest, hardworking, reliable and flexible
