Would you like to work as part of a small and happy team in our 30 bed Nursing Home for older people in Seaford?
We are seeking to recruit two daytime working Healthcare Assistants who will work under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse team to support each resident with activities of daily living in accordance with individual Care Plans, Risk Assessments whilst promoting autonomy.
You will be expected to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm including some weekends and bank holidays.

You will need to be kind and caring, able to work under the guidance of the nursing team, complete paperwork as required and attend training (for which you are paid). We offer paid breaks, uniforms and the opportunity to progress to other job roles if you wish
Responsibilities:
- Support people with a wide range of conditions and support needs with their daily living requirements, promoting dignity and a sense of wellbeing.
- To work as a member of a team in a organised and coordinated manner delivering care and support in accordance with corresponding care plans and risk assessments.
- To maintain and promote effective communication with those you are supporting and your colleagues. To feedback observations and monitor those you are supporting for any changes in their condition of needs.
- To deliver care and support in such a ways so as to promote the safety and wellbeing of those your are supporting and your colleagues.
Experience
- Previous experience working in the care sector is preferred.
- An awareness of health and safety and infection control practices and ability to apply these in practice.
- Experience working efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards
