Requirements
We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our growing team in Derby. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Programme using CAD/CAM software - Edgecam.
- Set and operate CNC milling machines. Proficient using Heidenhain or Haas controls.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Produce components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance and inspections.
- Use measuring equipment to verify component accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.
- We require someone with the ability to take a material billet and drawing through to a completed part.
