Team Teach Teaching Assistant
We are partnering with a supportive and inclusive school in Hounslow that is seeking a dedicated and resilient Team Teach Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional and learning support, helping them to access education in a safe and positive environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs and challenging behaviours, using Team Teach strategies to promote positive outcomes and engagement in learning.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Implement Team Teach strategies to support behaviour management and de-escalation.
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs within the classroom and around the school.
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
- Build positive relationships with pupils to encourage confidence, independence and engagement.
- Monitor pupil progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers and SEN staff.
- Promote a safe, structured and supportive learning environment.
- A valid Team Teach qualification.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND, SEMH or behavioural needs.
- Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
- A calm, patient and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The ability to commute to Hounslow or live locally.

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
