Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Projects Coordinator to take ownership of our growing remedial works department.

The Role
This is a varied role that combines project coordination, resource planning, materials procurement, commercial oversight and engineer support.
Working closely with our Remedial Administrator, Contracts Director and engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring remedial works are planned correctly, materials are available when needed, engineers are properly resourced and projects are delivered successfully.
Initially, a significant part of the role will involve organising and procuring materials, allocating labour and coordinating works. As the department continues to grow, the role will develop further into a management position with additional administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate remedial electrical works projects from quotation approval through to completion.
- Allocate engineers and subcontractors to projects based on skills, availability and commercial priorities.
- Work closely with the Remedial Administrator to schedule works efficiently and effectively.
- Identify, source and procure materials required for each project.
- Raise purchase orders and coordinate deliveries to site.
- Ensure engineers have all information, access arrangements and materials required before attending site.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineers where required.
- Monitor project costs and ensure works remain commercially viable and profitable.
- Manage work in progress and assist with accurate job costing and revenue reporting.
- Ensure completed documentation is returned promptly to allow invoicing and project close-out.
- Liaise with clients regarding project progress, access requirements and operational matters.
- Support monthly revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, RAMS and industry regulations.
- Attend site visits, surveys and occasional inspections where required.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified electrician with a strong technical background and a desire to progress into a more operational role.
You will ideally possess:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Sound knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical installation practices
- Experience carrying out electrical remedial works and fault finding
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of labour and material costs
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
