Snap Recruitment are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers (Category C Drivers) on behalf of our client in Burton-upon-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for ongoing, full-time, weekday work with temp-to-perm potential.
Key Details:
- Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver / LGV Class 2 Driver / Category C Driver
- Location: Burton-upon-Trent
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Start Times: 5:00am – 6:00am
- Start Date: Immediate starts available
- Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:
- Completing multi-drop deliveries (5–8 drops per day)
- Delivering palletised goods to local customers
- Ensuring timely and safe deliveries
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and adhering to driver compliance
- Providing a professional and reliable service
Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:
- Valid HGV Class 2 / LGV Class 2 / Category C Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
- Minimum 12 months HGV Class 2 driving experience
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and road safety
