We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Serve food items with attentiveness and courtesy, maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter, tables, and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any queries or concerns.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including food safety protocols.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required to support kitchen staff.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for those eager to learn.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to ensure compliance with hygiene regulations.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for assisting with light kitchen duties.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
