Job Title: CNC Machinist (Wood Machinery)

Hours:
Monday – Friday
6am - 2pm, rotating 2pm - 10pm
About the Role:
An established manufacturing company based in Altham is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and set CNC wood machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business with consistent hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating and monitoring CNC wood machines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring products are manufactured to precise specifications
- Carrying out quality checks on finished components
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting where required
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating CNC wood machinery (essential)
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and measurements
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
