Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team, and prepare the bar prior to its opening at 8am, from Wednesday to Sunday. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the premise, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a professional setting. Prior janitorial experience is essential.
- Perform thorough cleaning of the bar, patio, and toilet areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Sanitize communal areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to schedules to ensure all areas are cleaned within designated timeframes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a high level of reliability and trustworthiness, as the role involves lone working and holding keys to the premises.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and professionalism when interacting with colleagues and clients.
