Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive barista experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality food production and service. The Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive team environment and ensuring the smooth running of the business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of staff, including baristas and server, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent customer service
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage daily operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and maintaining compliance with food safety regulations
- Implement training programmes to develop team skills in barista skills, food safety, and hospitality best practices
- Monitor customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement of ingredients and supplies
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the back of house and front of house areas in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development to reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Uphold standards of hospitality, professionalism, and leadership within the team
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, and making coffee to a high standard
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced settings
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
- Previous experience working in a coffee shop is highly desirable
