Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Highbury Nursing Home. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health and well-being in a warm and welcoming environment.
Highbury Nursing Home caters to residents with low to moderate nursing needs, creating the ideal environment for nurses to build confidence, expand their clinical knowledge, and further develop their professional skills within a supportive and well-structured setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced nurses who are looking to enhance their practice while delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ health status.
- Work alongside trained CHAPS staff to support safe and effective medication administration and best practice in medicines management.
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal resident care.
- Educate residents and their families about health management and care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress.
- Assist in the development of individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Promote dignity, independence, and person-centred care for all residents.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care protocols.
- Previous nursing home experience is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate approach to caring for older adults.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical care and safeguarding.
