Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our healthcare team. We have 24 hours available for night duty weekly which are set into 12 hours shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care, utilising their knowledge of anatomy and expertise in medication administration. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Participate in care tasks as required.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting all assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Uphold hygiene standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinical environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Experience
- A valid Nursing qualification with registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting is preferred, with a strong emphasis on patient care.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to provide informed care decisions.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
