Job Role Title
Ocean BMW Plymouth are looking for a part time Cleaner to join its team and support the daily function of the whole site. This is a great opportunity to join a small and supportive team and become an integral part of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Able to work independently, responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning duties, as defined by the Head of Business, ensuring that the necessary brand standards are met and operating in line with health and safety policies. Main duties include:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across all areas of the business.
- Ensure that customer facing areas are always kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Empty waste bins and replace liners daily.
- Clean and sanitise kitchen facilities, including sinks, worktops, appliances, and cupboard exteriors.
- Clean and sanitise customer refreshment facilities as required throughout the day.
- Maintain washroom and toilet cleanliness, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
- Clear down and sanitise communal areas and meeting rooms.
- Restock kitchen and cleaning supplies as required.
- Monitor the condition of office areas and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the relevant manager.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are stored safely and used in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities role.
- Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of cleanliness and customer service.
- Comfortable working independently using own initiative as required.
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of safe handling and storage of cleaning products (COSHH training provided if required).
