Job Summary
Croft House Care Home is looking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team. This is a hands-on role within a small, friendly care home where maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety is essential to the wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the housekeeping team on a daily basis
Carry out cleaning duties to a high standard throughout the home
Ensure excellent infection control, COSHH, and health and safety standards are maintained at all times
Complete weekly stock ordering of cleaning supplies
Carry out staff supervisions
Monitor and maintain overall cleanliness and presentation of the home
Report any maintenance or health and safety concerns
This role does not include rota management
Requirements
Previous housekeeping experience essential
Experience in a supervisory or senior role
Good understanding of cleaning standards
Knowledge of COSHH, health and safety, and infection control essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Reliable, proactive and hands-on approach
