We are a leading HVAC provider with over 50 years experience in the industry employing over 4000 people across the UK. Our services including Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Mechanical and Electrical Services, working with a wide range of clients which include the Healthcare sector, Leisure, Warehouses, Distribution centres, Government, Transport and Retail.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of industrial refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Work on systems including ammonia, CO₂, and HFC refrigerants (depending on experience)
- Ensure all work is completed in line with current health & safety legislation and company procedures
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time
- Participate in the on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns when required
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through professional conduct and high-quality service delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with industrial refrigeration systems
- Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
- F-Gas certification (essential)
- Experience with ammonia systems is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in supermarket, warehouse, or large-scale industrial environments
Over time rate
Monday to Friday:
All hours worked between 17:30pm and 00:00am will be paid at time and a half.
All hours worked between 00:00am and 08:30am will be paid at double time
Saturday:
All hours worked between 08:30am and 12:00pm will be paid at time and a half
All hours worked between 12:00pm and 00:00am will be paid at double time.
Sunday and Bank Holidays:
All hours worked will be paid at double time
