JSL Services Ltd is expanding and we’re looking for professional, reliable Security Officers to join our team for a contract in FK13 6DN, Thereafter throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.

About the Role
As a Security Officer, you’ll play a key role in protecting our client sites, ensuring safety, and maintaining a strong security presence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Controlling access to site in line with assignment instructions
- Carrying out regular patrols to maintain site security
- Completing logbooks, reports, and required documentation
- Communicating effectively with the control room
- Interacting professionally with site staff, clients, and the public
- Responding to incidents and maintaining a visible deterrent presence
What we’re looking for
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision – essential)
- Strong communication and reliability
- Flexible approach to working hours and sites
- Previous security experience (preferred but not essential)
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (beneficial but not essential)
Screening Requirements
All roles are subject to BS7858 screening standards.
You must be able to provide:
- A minimum of 5 years’ work history
- Supporting documentation (HMRC employment history is ideal)
- References covering this period
