UCL’s Department of Computer Science (CS) is a top-ranked Computer Science Department in the UK. The Systems and Networks Research Group at UCL is a global leader in the design, building, and analysis of networked computer systems. The group stands out among high-profile networking research groups for its success spanning research and practice: we disseminate high-impact scientific results in leading publication venues, and we engage closely with the IETF standards body to ensure that these innovations find wide use in the Internet.
The postholder will carry out teaching, administration and related duties within the Department, and contribute to the new CS curriculum. The role requires a candidate with a Postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science or related subject. Knowledge of computer networks and systems and ability to stay up to date with relevant developments in this area is essential. The post holder should be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and student support. The role also demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated flexibility to work effectively within a team.
