Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dentist with a specialised interest in orthodontics to join our reputable dental practice. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, with a focus on orthodontic treatments, ensuring high standards of patient care and comfort. Duties
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues
- Develop personalised treatment plans, including orthodontic interventions where appropriate
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canal treatments
- Utilise CAD software for designing orthodontic appliances and restorations
- Apply medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with regulatory standards
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in orthodontics and dental technology
Qualifications
- Fully qualified Dentist recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent body
- Demonstrable interest or experience in orthodontics is highly desirable
- Proficiency in CAD software related to dental applications
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental practice
- Experience with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry, such as digital X-rays or 3D imaging systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to reassure and educate patients effectively
- Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of clinical care
