- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to address urgent equipment issues effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance processes and procedures.
A successful Multi Skilled Engineer should have:
- A recognised qualification in engineering, such as a diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair technical faults.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in engineering and manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment.
- A proactive approach to maintaining equipment reliability and performance.
