Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, drive exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality run events . Duties
- Act as Duty Manager and deputise for the General Manager during periods of absence.
- Lead and manage all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant, bar, weddings, conferences, and events.
- Ensure exceptional guest service standards are consistently delivered across all F&B outlets.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop the F&B team, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Prepare staff rotas in line with business levels and labour budgets.
- Manage payroll costs, productivity, and departmental budgets to achieve financial targets.
- Control stock, ordering, inventory, and wastage while maintaining agreed GP margins.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, licensing, and company policies.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally.
- Work closely with the Head Chef, Reception, Housekeeping, and Sales teams to ensure smooth hotel operations.
- Analyse sales reports and KPIs, identifying opportunities to improve revenue and profitability.
- Drive food and beverage sales through promotions, upselling, and excellent service.
- Conduct regular audits of standards, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the hotel.
- Lead daily operational briefings and departmental meetings.
- Support the delivery of weddings, conferences, and major events to the highest standard.
- Ensure all financial procedures are followed accurately.
- Be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, according to business needs.
Skills
- Lead the team from the front.
- Strong management skills with previous supervising experience in a culinary or restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Good understanding of hospitality operations, including barista experience is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
