The Zonda at The Halfway House is looking for a professional CDP to take over sections in the kitchen under our Head Chef's supervision. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. We are very much looking after our staff and provide career progression within the company.
You will be working with locally sourced seasonal produce, maintaining hygiene standards, contributing ideas towards new menus and you must be comfortable working on all sections.

Qualified Candidates Must:
- Have prior experience in restaurant cooking
- Be able to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing, running, reaching, and lifting
- Be able to communicate effectively through effective written and verbal communication
- Have knowledge of nutrition and food safety laws
- Have knowledge of cooking techniques, as well as be able to follow instructions for prepping food and cooking it quickly and efficiently
- Have knowledge of sanitation regulations
