Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations, maintaining excellent customer service standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations within the scheduled timeframe
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as organising stock and preparing goods for dispatch when required
- Perform heavy lifting as needed when handling packages or equipment
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is preferred
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous
- Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising professionally with clients and team members
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and work independently under minimal supervision

Pay: £12.21-£12.85 per hour
