The Lamb Inn West Wittering is a wonderful busy pub on the beach road towards West Wittering. Very busy year round, with huge levels of trade in the summer months. With a great reputation for good modern food and friendly service. We are now looking for a passionate and motivated Chef de Partie or Junior Sous, who can demonstrate the ability to add personal flare to their work, to join our enthusiastic and hardworking team.
Taking work life balance seriously, with chefs largely working 4 day weeks.
Duties include:
· Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
· Assisting the Head Chef and senior Sous in creating menu items and developing dishes
· Overseeing the maintenance of the kitchen and food safety standards
· Managing and training Commis Chef
· Permanent, full time position averaging 45 hours per week
· Flexible shifts including weekends
