Due to continued growth, David James is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Valeter / Detailer to join our existing team of four.
David James is one of the North East’s leading independent sports, performance and prestige vehicle specialists. Operating across multiple sites in Benton, Newcastle upon Tyne, we retail approximately 80–100 vehicles per month and take enormous pride in the preparation and presentation of every vehicle we offer for sale.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established preparation department and will play a key role in ensuring every vehicle meets the exceptionally high standards our customers have come to expect.
Essential Requirements
* Previous professional valeting/detailing experience is essential
* Full UK driving licence
* References will be required
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards
* Reliable, hardworking and able to work within a fast-paced environment
* Experience with prestige, sports and premium vehicles would be advantageous
Responsibilities
* Preparing retail vehicles to an exceptional standard
* Interior and exterior valeting
* Machine polishing experience
* Preparing vehicles for photography and showroom display
* Maintaining showroom and site presentation standards
* Supporting the wider preparation and logistics teams when required
