Overview
Arcola / UK Sign Shop are leading print and signage manufacturers, specialising in high end custom solution for a range of clients.
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator, flat bed table cutter, with experience within the print and signage industry to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machinery or table cutters such as Zund, Kongsbergs and the ability to fabricate and assemble components with precision.
This role involves working with various materials commonly used across the print and signage sector. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Operate CNC machines and flat bed table cutters, including AXYZ and JWEI machines.
- Assist with hand fabrication and assembly of completed parts.
- Assemble finished products and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently during the manufacturing process.
- Identify correct tools and settings for various materials including acrylic, ACM, MDF, woods, cards, PVCs.
- Troubleshoot issues with machinery and implement solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
- Manage own work flow to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role ideally in a print or signage related setting.
- Ability to read technical drawing files.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
