Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker and vinyl graphics fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a strong attention to detail. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and finishing high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. Your expertise in using hand and power tools will be essential in ensuring that each product meets our high standards of craftsmanship.
Duties
- Fabricate cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans.
- Assemble components using various techniques, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Perform painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of completed products.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely, maintaining equipment in good working order.
- Conduct joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all joints are plumb and secure.
- Execute heavy lifting as required during the fabrication and installation processes.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker/vinyl graphic fitter or in a similar carpentry role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to cabinet making.
- Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and woodworking principles.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driver's licence is preferred for potential site visits or deliveries.
