Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product enquiries during live sales sessions
- Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to encourage purchases
- Upsell additional items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service
- Manage merchandising displays to ensure they are attractive and well-stocked
- Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including cash and card payments
- Maintain a clean and organised sales area throughout the shift
- Engage with customers via phone or social media platforms to promote upcoming sales events
- Provide multilingual support, particularly in English and Spanish, to cater to diverse customer needs
- Utilise strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, offers, and new arrivals
- Manage time efficiently to ensure all duties are completed within the scheduled shift
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or sales is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Multilingual abilities, especially bilingual in English and Spanish, are highly desirable
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Proven ability in upselling and promoting products effectively
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods
