Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista/Front of house to join our bakery. You will be the face of our establishment, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also to serve bakery products. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Serve baking products to customers, ensuring all items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Operate coffee machines and equipment safely and efficiently while performing regular maintenance checks.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
Skills
- Strong ability to help customers with their orders and preferences, creating a personalised experience.
- Experience in food preparation is advantageous, as it contributes to overall service quality.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
We’re offering a full time job 4 days/ week including Saturday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
