Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and safety. This role involves inspecting, testing, and analysing products throughout the production process to maintain compliance with industry regulations and organisational specifications. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to verify quality standards are met.
- Implement and monitor HACCP protocols to ensure food safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyse product samples using established techniques to identify defects or deviations from specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability purposes.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in developing and updating quality assurance procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in internal audits and support external inspections as required.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness among staff through training and ongoing communication.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and their practical application in daily operations.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and make informed decisions.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure consistency across all processes.
- Good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to follow strict safety protocols and adhere to regulatory standards at all times.
Shifts & Salary
- Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
- Shifts rotate 7am to 3pm one week and 3pm to 11pm the following rotation.
- Pay for this role is £13.50 per hour
