Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various commercial environments. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a hygienic and welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff alike. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment.
Hours
- Monday - Friday
- 09.30 - 12:30 (3hrs per day)
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks across mobile units, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to health and safety standards
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and thoroughly
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable but training will be provided
