Salary: £25.71 – £29.91 per hour (exc WTD)

Are you a qualified pharmacist seeking a flexible and rewarding role within the NHS? We are looking for an enthusiastic Bank Pharmacist to join our dynamic Pharmacy team.
What you can add:
· Lead on all aspects of medicines optimisation and medication use within the pharmacy dispensary services, supporting medical and nursing teams, as well as allied health professionals in the safe and effective use of medicines.
· Manage and deliver services in accordance with relevant professional, ethical and legal standards and locally agreed policies, procedures and guidelines.
· Make essential contributions to the delivery of the daily workflow in the inpatient dispensaries, ensuring outstanding quality services for patients, hospital staff and other service users.
· Co-ordinate and participate in the day-to-day management of the pharmacy dispensaries, contributing to professional, clinical and accuracy checking of prescriptions received into the pharmacy, providing advice to service users, leading on investigations of errors and implementing service improvements when necessary.
· This post leads on and delivers pharmacy services via the Trust dispensaries, providing error management, intervention feedback, procedure formulation and training.
· Provide accurate advice and information to service users, building and establishing positive relationships.
What you’ll need:
- MPharm or equivalent, with current registration as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
· Significant post-registration experience in a hospital environment
· Experience of working with hospital electronic prescribing systems
· Data management and data analysis skills
· Experience of working with hospital EPMA systems is desirable
· Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people on complex matters
