Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to support and lead multiple high-volume retrofit projects across our UK projects.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will work closely with our existing Site Management team to oversee operations across multiple sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong roofing background who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and is confident managing teams, subcontractors, and complex retrofit programmes.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite & Operational Management
- Oversee daily operations across multiple live sites
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure projects remain on programme and within budget
- Support Site Managers with technical guidance and escalation management
Roofing & Multi-Measure Delivery
- Lead delivery of re-roofing and structural roofing projects
- Coordinate scaffolding and ensure safe access procedures
- Oversee retrofit measures including solar PV, loft insulation, ventilation, windows & doors
- Ensure correct sequencing of works across all measures
Health & Safety
- Maintain high H&S standards across all sites
- Conduct inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Ensure compliance with PAS standards and UK building regulations
- Promote a positive safety culture throughout delivery teams
Quality & Performance
- Monitor installation quality and manage snagging resolution
- Support performance management of subcontractors and site teams
- Ensure works are completed to company and client standards
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise closely with Operations Managers, QS teams, Coordinators, and clients
- Provide accurate reporting on progress, risks, and site performance
- Assist with continuous improvement across delivery operations
RequirementsEssential
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or experienced Site Manager
- Strong roofing and multi-trade background
- Experience managing multiple sites/projects simultaneously
- SMSTS Certification
- CSCS Card
- Strong understanding of H&S and compliance regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
Preferred
- First Aid at Work
- Experience within retrofit/ECO/PAS programmes
- Solar or renewables experience
