The Opportunity
2fawcett are recruiting for an organised and proactive Account Manager to join a specialist manufacturing business within a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
This is a varied role focused on managing customer relationships, coordinating enquiries and quotations, supporting project delivery, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
You will work closely with internal technical and production teams while maintaining strong communication with customers and supporting the day-to-day coordination of projects and commercial activity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing customer enquiries and ongoing account activity
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Preparing and coordinating quotations from customer specifications and drawings
- Supporting project coordination and delivery expectations
- Working closely with technical and production teams to ensure smooth communication
- Maintaining accurate customer records and system updates
- Monitoring ongoing projects and escalating any potential issues where required
- Supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement processes
- Providing excellent customer service and communication throughout
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience within account management, customer service, or administration
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Confident IT skills and experience using internal systems or CRM software
