Job Title: MIS & Data Officer

ANZUK Education is working with a highly regarded independent school in London seeking an experienced MIS & Data Officer to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time position offers the opportunity to play a key role in managing and developing the school's data systems, supporting whole-school operations and ensuring data accuracy, reporting and compliance.

This MIS & Data Officer role in London would suit experienced Data Officers, School Administrators, or MIS Coordinators with strong MIS experience who are ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities of an MIS & Data Officer:
- Maintain and manage the school's MIS system, ensuring accuracy and integrity of student and staff data
- Produce and analyse reports for senior leadership to support strategic decision-making
- Oversee census returns and statutory data submissions, ensuring compliance with DfE requirements
- Manage timetabling and data processes linked to curriculum and assessment
- Support staff with the effective use of MIS systems and reporting tools
- Ensure GDPR compliance and maintain secure handling of sensitive data
- Work collaboratively with IT and leadership teams to improve data systems and processes
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have proven experience working with school MIS systems such as SIMS, Bromcom or Arbor
- Demonstrate strong data management, analysis and reporting skills
- Have a solid understanding of school data requirements and census processes
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Hold an exemplary commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Communicate effectively and be able to support and train staff on MIS systems
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
