This is a varied, hands-on role focused on maintaining and improving the presentation of our well-established holiday village on Scotland’s west coast.
You will help maintain 32 self-catering cottages, estate buildings and shared guest areas, carrying out high-quality internal and external painting and decorating work across the resort. A large proportion of the work will involve decorating cottages and communal spaces following repairs, refurbishment projects and joinery work completed by our Estates Manager.

- Carry out minor repair and preparation work associated with decorating projects
- Assist with occasional general maintenance tasks where appropriate

Tools, Equipment & Safety
- Use painting, decorating and maintenance tools safely and responsibly
- Carry out routine checks on equipment and report faults or replacement requirements
- Follow health and safety procedures, including safe working at height and the appropriate use of PPE
- Keep work areas tidy and safe, particularly when working around guests, staff and occupied cottages
- Store paints, materials and equipment safely and securely
Guest Support
- Work professionally and respectfully in guest areas and occupied cottages
- Be mindful of guest comfort, privacy and holiday experience while carrying out work
