Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing refrigeration systems across various facilities. Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair faults in Industrial and Commercial refrigeration equipment
- Read and interpret technical schematics, diagrams, and manuals to facilitate accurate repairs and installations
- Lead small teams during maintenance or installation projects, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Perform equipment repairs promptly to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with construction teams during system upgrades or new installations
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance data
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical knowledge related to refrigeration
- Industrial refrigeration experience (preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrable ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Prior leadership experience in supervising or guiding maintenance teams is desirable
- Strong background in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting within refrigeration
- Knowledge of construction processes related to system installation is advantageous
- Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices for refrigeration systems

Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
