Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver and Waiter. This dual role involves providing exceptional service to customers both through prompt delivery and attentive in-venue service. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting. Previous experience in delivery driving or hospitality is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. This position offers an engaging work environment where professionalism and a positive attitude are essential.
Responsibilitie
- Provide courteous and professional service to customers during deliveries and within the venue, ensuring a positive experience.
- Assist with setting up tables, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to address any queries or concerns.
- Handle heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or deliveries as needed, maintaining proper safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and transactions, ensuring all orders are correctly fulfilled.
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred; familiarity with commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with customers and team members effectively.
- Experience in hospitality or waiting roles is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Candidates should possess a valid driver’s licence appropriate for commercial driving duties.
