Our Corporate Tax team continues to grow, supporting a broad mix of clients from owner-managed businesses to large corporate groups. We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Manager to join the team and take on greater responsibility across both compliance and advisory work.

- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance deadlines are met and work is delivered to a high standard
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Leading on a range of advisory assignments, including areas such as capital allowances, R&D claims, corporate restructuring, transactions and due diligence
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact, liaising directly with clients and HMRC
- Collaborating with Managers, Senior Managers and Partners on more complex projects and technical matters
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work and contributing to their development
- Undertaking tax technical research and contributing to internal knowledge sharing
- Supporting business development activities and identifying opportunities to add value to clients
- Working closely with audit colleagues on year end tax compliance matters
- ATT/CTA or ACA/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience and a desire to complete CTA studies
- Strong background in corporate tax compliance with growing exposure to advisory work
- Experience of managing client relationships and handling a portfolio of work
- Confident reviewing work and supporting more junior team members
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage competing deadlines and priorities
- Clear communicator, able to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
- Proactive and commercially aware, with an interest in developing your advisory skillset and contributing to the wider team
