Job Title: HR Assistant

VANRATH is working with a well-established organisation in Derry/Londonderry to appoint an HR Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy HR team, providing administrative support across a range of HR activities in a professional and supportive environment. This role will be office-based.

You must have previous experience supporting HR operations

Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Experience using an HR information system (HRIS) and Mircosoft Office

Support recruitment activities, including interview coordination and candidate communication to ensure a positive candidate experience.

Coordinate onboarding and compliance processes, including new starter documentation and Right to Work checks.

Prepare and administer HR documentation, including contracts, probation reviews, and employee relations records.

Manage employee queries via the HR inbox, escalating to the HR Manager where appropriate.

Maintain accurate employee records, attendance and annual leave data within the HRIS, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

Produce and distribute HR reports, providing data insights and administrative support to managers.
