An opportunity has arisen for a full time payroll assistant to join our team:
The Role
- You will be responsible for processing payrolls for clients accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner using Superpay.
- You will manage end-to-end payroll processing for your assigned client portfolio, ensuring that client and employee records are maintained accurately.
- You will ensure all deadlines are met including weekly and monthly payroll processing
- You will handle queries from clients, HMRC, and internal colleagues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Processing a small number of CIS returns
- Processing benefits in kind through payroll software
- During the 3-month probationary period you will mainly be office based and then the role can be flexible with hybrid working available
- Opportunity to broaden your experience and work within a supportive payroll team
- Office opening hours: Monday-Friday, 9.00am-5.00pm
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a payroll role in either practice or industry
- Previous experience of auto-enrolment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Friendly and efficient manner when dealing with queries.
- Proven ability to stay up-to-date with changes to payroll legislation
- Good client-facing communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
