Boatmans Optical – a trusted, independent optician in the heart of Chelmsford – is looking for an experienced Dispensing Optician or Optical Dispenser to join our friendly, professional team.

About the Role
- Full-time preferred, part-time considered
- Permanent position
- Dispensing to a wide range of prescriptions and lifestyles
- Assisting with frame selection, lens advice, and patient support
- Pre-screening and diagnostic support as needed
- Working alongside experienced optometrists and support staff
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Must have competentant dispensing experience
- Warm, professional, and patient-focused approach
- Excellent communication
- GOC registration (if applying as a Dispensing Optician)
- A team player who enjoys working in an independent practice setting
