Health & Safety Recruitment Consultant
£30k - £40k (OTE)
OH Medical is a specialist Occupational Health and Health & Safety recruitment consultancy, partnering with employers across the UK to deliver high-quality, compliant recruitment solutions.
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to develop and grow our Health & Safety desk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys winning new business, building long-term client relationships, and becoming a true market specialist.
The Role
As a Health & Safety Recruitment Consultant, you will take full ownership of your desk, combining business development with end-to-end recruitment delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new client relationships within the Health & Safety / HSE market
- Proactively identifying and winning new business opportunities
- Managing and growing existing client accounts
- Delivering permanent and contract recruitment solutions
- Building strong candidate pipelines through networking, headhunting, and referrals
- Acting as a trusted recruitment partner to clients, advising on market trends, salaries, and hiring strategy
- Working closely with the OH Medical leadership team to support wider business growth
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in recruitment, ideally within Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related technical market
- Strong sales and business development mindset
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable managing your own desk
- Ambition to grow within a specialist consultancy environment
